MEET LESEGO
Meet Lesego Serolong Holzapfel, the visionary CEO and founder of Bokamoso Impact Investments and Bokamoso Foods. With an MSc in Social Policy from the London School of Economics and a BA in International Studies from the City College of New York, Lesego’s journey reflects seven transformative years in the US.
As an orphan, she founded Raise the Children, providing scholarships to orphans with leadership potential. Lesego’s Bokamoso companies have long championed beekeeping, driving rural employment, income growth, and environmental resilience.

MEET BEE LOVED
Bee Loved, Lesego’s social impact venture, manufactures and distributes beehives to rural communities. Through holistic mentorship, the company guarantees wholesale off-take for honey producers, fostering employment and environmental sustainability. In 2022, Lesego launched the One Million Beehives project, a bold initiative driving rural employment and sustainability. Her work extends to grape farmers like Auntie Poppie in Keimoes, where Lesego donated 120 hives and provided beekeeping training.
